7 Chakras The very foundation of the occulist devotion seems to be present in the discourse of Shata Chakra (Six wheels or rings).
Five physical elements and one spiritual mind together constitute six wheels in the six centers. Revolving continuously these six wheels are whirling the pure soul in organism form. Thus these wheels are like vehicles, riding which; the organism passes his life, controlled by them. Muladhara, Swadhishthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddha and Agya. These are the six wheels,among them, Muladhara, Swadhisthana, Manipura, Anahata and Vishuddha are five wheels composed of the five physical elements. Agya Chakra is related to the mind. The mind is like the fire of the soul.By awakening the Kundalini that lies asleep in the depth of Muladhara Chakra, this fire of the soul can be activated and utilised. Hence the foremost duty of the yogi is to awaken Kundalini by any means, and then he must combine the fire of Kundalini with his mind and breath. This combination of fires results into a greater fire. Among them, the mind is the moon, The breath is the sun, and as Kundalini is the power to speak,which is like a fire. When the three powers of the moon, the sun and the fire combine, These result into a greater power.

With its effect, the four letters present on the petals of Muladhara, melt to form four resonances,they then form a continuous resonance, that tries to rise upward in Sushumna nerve through its triangular mouth. Thus, Muladhara Chakras is rendered to zero, and this opening process continues upward, opening all the Chakras present in the way right from Swadhisthana Chakra to the Agya Chakra.
In the end all the fifty letters present in the Chakras from A to Gya, first convert into resonance, then into smaller dots and fuse ultimately into a single dot. This single dot exists as the third eye between the two eyebrows,a little higher than Agya Chakra.
The opening of this third eye is also called as the opening of Agya Chakra. With the opening of Agya Chakra, an organism no longer remains a mere organism, but assumes the form of Shiva. After this,the opening of the seventh Sahasstrar Chakra takes place.
From the occultism angle, the human body has been divided into two parts

  1. Part above the waist.
  2. Part below the waist.

The waist is the dividing line of the body.The upper part of the body is supported by the spine, and it has a contact with the brain also. The brain and the spine house two opposite groups of the nerves. One of them is white in colour, while another is blood red. Our body is a true replica of the universe.
Because of this reason seven Lokas (Worlds) have been imagined to exist in the lower part of the body below the waist. Similarly, seven Chakras have been imagined to exist in the upper part, by which the power of the soul circulates through the brain and the spinal cord. The seven lokas (Worlds) that exist in the Upper part are known as Bhu, Bhuvah, Swah. Tapah, Janah, Mahah and Satyam, also known as the seven Chakras. Thus five Chakras are located in the spinal cord. The sixth Chakra is just below the brain while the seventh Chakra is above the brain. In the seventh Chakra itself is the abode of Shiva and Shakti.
Exact location of all these Chakras in the body are thus :

  1. Muladhara Chakra : It is at the base of the spine, between the anus and the sex organ.
  2. Swadhishthana Chakra: It is above the Muladhara Chakra that is above the sex organs.
  3. Manipura Chakra : Its position is in the navel.
  4. Anahata Chakra : It is in the heart.
  5. Vishuddha Chakra : It is in the base of the throat.
  6. Agya Chakra : It is between the eyebrows.

All the six Chakras are related to the spine. The seventh Chakra is called as Sahastrata Chakra, and is assumed to be the supreme center of the life. The appearance of all these Chakras is found to be like the opened petals of a lotus.
All the five Chakras below the Agya Chakra are related to the five elements viz - the earth, the water, the fire, the air and the ether (sky), whereas the sixth, Agya Chakra represents the life. Apart and separate from these six Chakras is Sahastrar Chakra, which is like a lotus of a thousand petals. Two more Chakras or lotus are also assumed to exist between Agya and Sahastrar Chakras. These are

  1. Nada Padma,
  2. Bindu Chakra.

Thus there are in all nine Chakras or Padmas in the body, that have been divided into three classes from occultism point of view. Starting from the above, the first category is related to the will power. The second category is related to the power of action, while the third category is related to the power of knowledge. Numerous nerve cycles link the Muladhara Chakra to the Sahastrara Chakra. All these nerve cycle control the function of the body.On both the sides of the spine are veins of white and red colour. That keeps the nerve cycles in motion. Between the nerves is the Sushumna nerve, flanked on the left by Ida and on the right by Pingla. Sushumna nerve is the means for the flow of the force called Soul.


Muladhara Chakra Appearance: Like a lotus of four petals
Place : Below the sex organ and two fingers above the anus.
Color : All the four petals are blood red.
Orientation : Facing Down
Letters : On the four petals are four letters Vam, Sham, Gham, and Sam that glitter like gold.
At the center of this lotus is present tetragonal PrithviChakra, surrounded by an octagon. At the center of the Prithvi Chakra is present the cryptic letter Lam.
Inside the tetragonal PrithviChakra and riding the divine elephant Airawata is present Brahma with four heads and four arms.
Along with Brahma is present his power Dakini who has four arms and blood shot eyes.
At the center of the petal of Muladhara lotus is present the Tripura triangle of the goddess Tripura, at the center of this triangular yantra are present Kandarpa Vaya (air) and Linga form of Swayambhu Linga.
Above the Swayambhu linga, and at the inside of the Muludhar lotus is present a Manamaya Shakti named Kula Kundalini.
At the center of Kula, Kundalini is present the Super nature named Parmakata.

Swadhishtane Chakra Appearance : Lotus with six petals.
Place : At the base of the sex organ
Color : Colour of all the six petals is vermilion pink
Orientation : Faces up
Letters : On all the six petals are present six letter Bam, Bham, Mam, Yam, Ram, Lam, that sparkle like electricity.
At the center of the Swadhishthana Chakra is present Varuna Chakra in the form of the lunar ring. At the center of the Varuna Chakra is present Varuna cryptic letter Vam the vehicle of which is crocodile.
At the center of the cryptic letter Varuna is present dark complexioned, four-armed Lord Vishnu along with Shrivatsa and Kaustubhamani.
On the left side of Vishnu is present his power, the goddess Rakini who is also dark complexioned and holds weapons in each her four arms.
Mantra to be Chanted : OM NAMO NARAYANA

Manipura Chakra Appearance : Lotus with ten petals
Place : Above the Swadhisthana Chakra and at the base of the navel.
Color : All the ten petals are blue like clouds.
Orientation : The lotus faces up
Cryptic Letters : The letters from Da to Fa Viz Dam, Dham, Nam, Tam, Tham, Dam Dham, Nam, Pam and Fam are present on the ten petals.
At the center of Manipura Chakra is the triangular Yantra of Vaishvanar god. Outside of this triangular Mantra are situated three gates named Swatika.
At the center of this triangular Yantras is the cryptic mantra Ram of the god Vaishvanar. It is red in colour, has four arms and rides the ram. At the center of this crypt is present in a foregiving posture Rudra, who is capable to destroy the universe. He is vermilion red in colour and is smeared with ashes, and has three eyes. Along with Lord Rudra is present his power the goddess Lakini who is dark coloured, has four arms wearing yellow clothes. Mantra to be chanted : OM NAMO BHAGWATE RUDRAY SWAHA

4)ANAHATA CHAKRA Anahata Chakra Appearance : Like a lotus with twelve petals
Place : Above the Manipura Chakra at the heart.
Colour : Red like the flower of Bandhuka that blooms at noon.
Orientation : This Chakra faces up Cryptic letter :Letters form Ka to Tha Kam, Kham, Gam, Gham, Angam, Cham Chham, Jam, Jham, Ian, Jam, Tham, are present on all the twelve petals and ador them like vermilion marks. At the center of the Chakra is present a hexagonal Vayu Chakra of fume colour. At the center of this hexagon is present fume-coloured tetragon and cryptic Mantra "Yam" riding a stag.
At the center of this Vayu crypt is present swan-coloured Ishan with two arms in foregiving posture.
Along with the god Ishan is present his power (Shakti) the goddess Kakini who is yellow-coloured, has three eyes and four arms and holds a noose,a skull in her hand and a garland of skulls in the neck. She is also in a forgiving and benevolent posture. At the stalk of this lotus,is the auspicious presence of the power name Trikona (triangle) who has three eyes and a body as beautiful as electricity. 11. Along with this Trikona Power is present Vanadhaya Shivalinga with a hole at the top. Alongside the hole is the abode of Lakshmi (Laxmi). This place is like a lotus of eight petals

Vishuddhakhya Chakra Appearance : Like a lotus of sixteen petals.
Place / Location : Above the Anahata Chakra and in the throat
Color : Like the colour of the fumes
Orientation : It faces upward On the sixteen petals of this Chakra are present sixteen cryptic mantras from A to Ah - Am, Aam, Im, Eem, Um, Oom, Rim, Ram, Lrim, Lreem, Em, Aim, Om, Aum, An, Ah. The colour of all these letters is red.
At the center of this lotus is the sky in circular form and filled with the full moon light. In this circular form of sky and riding an elephant is the Akash Beja (Cryptic sky) which is fair complexioned, has four arms, He holdsa noose and curb in two hands, while the two hands are in forgiving and benevolent posture.
At the center of this Akash Beeja is present Lord Shiva in Ardhanarishvara body, that is half of his body is masculine which represents Shiva while another half is feminine which represents Parvati (Girija). This form of Shiva has three eyes, five to ten heads and is wearing the skin of a tiger.
Along with almighty Shiva is present his power the goddess Shakini who is fair complexioned, has four arms wears yellow clothes and is holding, bow, arrow, noose and curb in her hands. In the stalk of the lotus is present the beautiful full moon which is the gate to Salvation.

Agya Chakra Appearance : Like a lotus of two petals.
Location :Between the two eyebrows at the forehead.
Color : Fair like the moon
Orientation : The petals are facing up
ON the two petals of this Chakra, two cryptic mantras Ham, and Kshm are present.
At the center of this lotus is present the goddess Hakini, who is fair coloured has six heads, four arms in Gyana Mudra (Knowledge posture) holding skull, rosary and a tabor. At the center of this lotus is the abode of the mind.
In the Petal of this lotus is the place of Itarakhya Shiva depicted by half feminine-half masculine Itara Shivalinga.
Brahma Nadi (The cosmic nerve) is also felt here. Here is also present the supreme cryptic letter OM. This is the inner spiritual form of Omkara, adorned by sickle-like moon of the Dwitiya the second day after the moon less night) and dot like Ma, From here begins the sound, that is here is the place of unbroken sound.

Sahasrar Chakra Appearance : Like a lotus of thousand petals.
Location : It is located in the Vacuum at the top of the nerve Shankhini, above the Agya Chakra, and below the power called Visarga
Orientation : This lotus is facing down.
Color : White like the full moon, with saffron tinge of the dawning sun.
Cryptic Mantras : All the letters from A to Ksha, that is fifty letters are present on the petals of this lotus. In other words, each letter is repeated on twenty petals in a row. At the center of Sahastrara is present the full moon.
At the center of this full moon is present a sparkling Trikona Yantra.
At the center of this Trikina Yantra is present Brahma in vacuum state of nothingness. It is the absolute cryptic root of the infinitesinal joy.
At the same place is the abode of Kha like Shiva who joyfully stays here with Shakti. At the same place is also present in an extremely thin, equal to the hundredth parts of the lotus stalk,a streak of the nectar, a power named Ama AT the center of this power, in a part that is thousand times thinner than a hair is present Paratpara Bhagwati in the phase named Nirvana. This is also called as MahaKundalini. At the center of this phase named Nirvana, is present the extremely cryptic Nirvana Shakti ( The power of Salvation) in extremely infinitesimal form.
At the center of Nirvana Shakti is the abode of Nityananda Shiva, But because of difference of Opinion people call it as Vaishnava sthana, Hansa Sthana or Moksha Dwara (State to the salvation).
